A delegation from the Japanese Nuclear Regulation Authority, NRA, learned more about the activities of the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI) during a visit between 21 and 25 August 2017. Key topics were the supervisory and safety cultures.

A delegation from the Iran Nuclear Regulatory Authority (INRA) gained insights into the supervisory activities of the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI) during a visit from 14 to 18 August 2017. Key issues included the management system, implementation of the backfitting obligation and safety culture.

A four-member delegation from the Polish National Atomic Energy Agency (PAA) is currently in Brugg for talks with the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI). Their interest during the three-day visit is related to ENSI’s integrated management system and the regulatory safety culture.

On the occasion of the 27th annual meeting of the CFS, the French-Swiss commission for nuclear safety and radiological protection, Switzerland and France exchanged ideas on various topics in the field of nuclear safety. Here, France expressed interest in the research programme of ENSI.

During the 60th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA, the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI) and the National Atomic Energy Agency of Poland (PAA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The aim of this agreement is cooperation and information exchange on nuclear regulatory matters.
