Human and organisational factors

In addition to the technical aspects of nuclear safety there are also human and organisational factors. In addition to nuclear technology, ENSI experts study both safety within an organisation and the psychological phenomena of plant employees who are exposed to extreme stress in emergency situations.

    Convention on Nuclear Safety to evaluate two National Reports from Switzerland

    ENSI will be participating in the Ninth Review Meeting of the Convention on Nuclear Safety of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, scheduled to take place from 20 to 31 March. This year’s conference will be evaluating Switzerland’s Eighth and Ninth National Reports.

    ENSI at the IAEA Regulatory Systems Conference: competence management in focus

    ENSI is attending a four-day conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA – the International Conference on Effective Nuclear and Radiation Regulatory Systems – which is taking place in Abu Dhabi from 13 to 16 February 2023. A core theme of the conference will be the topic of competence management in the nuclear sector.
