    Fire Protection in Nuclear Facilities: Switzerland submits action plan

    Switzerland has submitted its national action plan for the second Topical Peer Review (TPR II) on fire protection in nuclear facilities to the European Nuclear Safety Regulators Group (ENSREG) by the deadline. The action plan addresses and follows up on both the areas identified for improvement and those where performance is already good.

    At its fourth meeting in May 2026 in Schaffhausen, the International Nuclear Safety Policy Advisors Group (INSPAG) welcomed three new members: Italy, South Africa and the United States of America.
