Welcome to ENSI’s new website

The Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI) has revised its website. The design of the new website focuses on structuring the individual topics clearly, and also aligning it with the needs of the various interest groups. The main topics can be accessed directly via the main navigation bar. Visually, ENSI has aligned its website with the Federal Administration’s new visual identity.

As the regulatory authority for nuclear safety and security at Swiss nuclear installations, ENSI uses the visual identity of the federal government. Since the Federal Administration is currently revising its visual identity, ENSI has redesigned its website accordingly.

The new design was preceded by a thorough analysis of the structure and functionality of the previous ENSI website, which involved checking all of the content and adapting it where necessary. The design of the new website focuses on structuring the individual topics and topic groups clearly, and on the requirements of the various interest groups.

For example, the topic “Radiation protection” is more prominent, in that information about this is available directly through the main navigation bar. Oversight of the nuclear safety and security of the nuclear installations in Switzerland is ENSI’s main task. The relevant information can now be found here: “Nuclear Safety and Security”. Facts about all the nuclear installations in Switzerland are available here: “Nuclear installations”. And since international cooperation is becoming increasingly important to ENSI, this topic also has its own navigation link.

These are just a few of the updates – we hope you enjoy browsing our new website.
