ENSI, the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate is the national regulatory body with responsibility for the nuclear safety and security of Swiss nuclear facilities.

ENSI is well aware that successful supervisory work depends not only on the technical qualifications of each and every employee, but also on their values and their ability to work constructively together.

    Tamara Garny to become the new Director of the Resources Division

    The executive board of the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI) has named Tamara Garny as new Director of the Resources Division. The 43 year old will take up her new position on 1 June 2018. She succeeds to  Jean-Claude Veyre, who is now responsible for Quality Management at ENSI.

    The executive board of the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI) has named Andreas Schefer as the new Chief of Staff. The 48 year old lawyer is taking over from Felix Altorfer, who at the start of 2017 became Director of the Waste Management Division.

    The ENSI Board is appointing Rosa Sardella as new Director of the Division for Radiation Protection

    Rosa Sardella is to be the new Director of the Division for Radiation Protection at the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate ENSI. The ENSI Board has appointed the 47 year old, who holds a doctorate in nuclear engineering, as the successor to retiring Division Director Georges Piller, effective July 1st, 2016.

    “We strengthen safety.” The Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate has developed a new mission statement under this motto. It was developed with the involvement of every employee and replaces the mission statement from the year 2009.
