    At its fourth meeting in May 2026 in Schaffhausen, the International Nuclear Safety Policy Advisors Group (INSPAG) welcomed three new members: Italy, South Africa and the United States of America. This brings the total number of members in the network of officials responsible for international affairs to sixteen.

    ENSI’s Radiation Protection Report 2025 shows that all Swiss nuclear installations remained well within the legal requirements for the release of radioactive substances into the environment and the radiation exposure of personnel. ENSI verified this during the year under review through inspections, measurements and checks.
