    Radiation Protection Report 2024: All Legal Limits Met

    In 2024, Swiss nuclear installations met all legal radiation protection limits according to ENSI’s annual radiation protection report. Based on a closely coordinated system of monitoring instruments, ENSI was able to verify that the regulated parties fulfilled their legal obligations to protect both personnel and the general public from radiation.

    ENSI Publishes its 2024 Research and Experience Report: New Findings for Long-Term Operation

    The 2024 Research and Experience Report is focused on research into earthquake risks, fire propagation in reactors and the health effects of ionising radiation. The report presents important findings for regulatory practice, especially relating to the long-term operation of nuclear power plants, and simultaneously gives an insight into ENSI’s broad-based international cooperation.

    2023 Oversight Report: The safety status of the nuclear power plants is good

    ENSI verified the status of the Swiss nuclear power plants by 327 inspections. In 2023, the year under review, 22 reportable nuclear-safety-relevant incidents were recorded at the nuclear power plants. ENSI provides detailed information in the oversight report published today.
