In the process, it has deleted a number of indicators, as these do not provide any clear additional benefit compared to the other available data sources. Several indicators that were previously collected more than once a year are now collected exclusively at the end of the year.
The aim of the adaptations is to use the resources of both the licencees and the supervisory authority in a way that maximises the benefit for safety.
The report on oversight practice (March 2023 edition) entitled “Integrated Oversight” shows the current status of the safety indicators. A coordinated adaptation of the reporting obligations of licencees by updating guideline ENSI-B02 will follow.
