Director, Staff of the Directorate Division
Patrick Tschudin studied law at the University of Zurich, graduating in 2013, and later gained a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in project management. Prior to joining ENSI, he worked in the field of domestic policy at the Conference of Cantonal Governments.
Patrick Tschudin joined ENSI’s Legal Section as a specialist in 2018 and was appointed to lead the section in 2022. In this role, he oversaw legal matters relating to the enforcement of nuclear energy and radiation protection legislation, as well as liaison with the Swiss Federal Office of Energy and other authorities. He was also jointly responsible for projects aimed at further developing the overall organization, such as the establishment of a compliance management system. He was appointed Deputy Director of Staff of the Directorate Division in 2024. This division comprises the Legal, Communication, International Affairs and Research Sections, as well as Information Security.
